The Void Rains Upon Her Heart is a bullet-hell where you are fighting through a bunch of randomly chosen bosses before taking on a final battle. There are actually a lot of random elements to the game from the bosses you are fighting to the random gifts that will power you up. Your main goal is to keep your ship alive. This game was released in Early Access back in 2018, and now has a merch store, primarily featuring designs around the alien girl from the game and her heart-shaped ship.
It’s not often that smaller indie games get physical merch related to their games, so this is something to be treasured and celebrated, I feel. The Void Rains Upon Her has a small collection of items; a black jumper with a small heart logo on the right-hand side embroidered in, a t-shirt with a fantastic design of the name of the game, along with the alien girl and a stunning blue hoodie that’s got the alien girl on it as well. There are also a mug, magnet with the name of the game, and mouse pad.
A secondary collection, which features the monsters from The Void Rains Upon Her Heart has a pillow of one of the monsters, a few fantastic t-shirts including one of the iconic Soup Veyeral, and a keychain of one of the more adorable monsters.
It’s nice to see such a good range of merch, especially for a game with such a unique graphical look to it. IT’s clear that The Void Rains Upon Her Heart has come a long way from the Steam Greenlight Program many years back.
