Misery’s Megafactory Update Is Here, with new enemies, equipment and dangers
For anyone that has experienced the sirens and ever-present world-ending, bunker-based fun of Misery you’ll be pleased to hear that the new Megafactory update has just been released, and that it includes a whole new industrial biome to be explored.
The ruins of the new Factory biome were once the heart of industry for the land of Misery but now lays infested with mutants, raiders and radiation galore. There are also hints at some new enemies in the form of UNF forces that are present in the area and may cause issues for those who are under equipped and under prepared, but also offer the chance to retrieve some important equipment – albeit at the risk of being blasted by artillery fire.
The Factory biome is stated to be one of, if not, the most combat heavy environment currently available in Misery so you do not want to go in unprepared. Weapons, gas masks, food and supplies are essential for survival in the new areas and will likely be the difference between life and death in the shadows that was once the industrial hub of Zaslavie.

- New biome – Factory: You can meet this biome on 15+ shinings; Bunker is pushed to 25+.

New threat – GRAD: The UN is trying to deliver some supplies to their maggots, but the Zaslavie Armed Forces will not tolerate it. Do NOT try to reach enemy supply crates, or you will be struck by artillery!

Over 50 new items: Clothes, armor, items, decorations, and furniture.

Headshots now inflict more damage: Shoot precisely, comrades!

Now you can block attacks with a melee weapon.

New Crafting Station: Butcher Table where you can craft taxidermy figures from slain mutants.

As well as these new additions to Zaslavie with the Megafactory update, a new short film is also being created by Nikita Ordinskiy who’s similar creations include the Papers, Please and Beholder short films and is expected to be released at the end of the year.
