Hidden Folks 2 has been announced for 2027
Hidden Folks 2, an adorable, interactive miniature landscape where you can search for specific characters – like eye spy – has been announced for 2027 during the Wholesome Direct.
We previously reviewed Hidden Folks:
“As you can probably tell, I really enjoyed my playthrough – at 3 hours start to finish it’s just the right length to keep you hooked and leave you wanting more. Luckily, more is on the way, with 2 more levels already in and marked as coming soon, and a mailing list to join on completion for alerts about new content, this looks like a game with the possibility of a long shelf-life with new levels dropped in on a sporadic basis.”
Hidden Folks 2 isn’t completely set in stone with it’s announcement, as the game is being released next year, but it is projected to have roughly 15 to 20 different areas, with more being added after the release in free updates, and to have three teams at launch. Each area is going to contain 4 to 15 targets and plenty of random interactions that will be quite fun to play around with.
There will also be different color modes within the game, so that you can view it outside of the black and white of the previous game. Hidden Folks 2 is meant to build on the first game, with the art style, miniature landscapes, silly jokes and mouth-made sounds all just being a bit MORE in this game. Your goal is still the same; explore these landscapes, without any time limits or need to score points, so that you can better understand what is going on. There will also be clues, not text-based, which can help those who get stuck.
Hidden Folks 2 will be coming to PC and Mobile to start, with a hint at a Nintendo Switch version if there is the demand for one.
