Forbidden Solitaire, the card-slashing horror game with the art style of an old 1995 CD-ROM, has had its next DLC announced. This one, the Forbidden Solitaire: The Discarded DLC sounds very exciting and promises to bring a bunch of new content to the game.

“Forbidden Solitaire is a fun twist on a well worn genre. Whilst it can’t shake the potentially repetitive gameplay style that it’s built around, there’s plenty there to keep you pushing on to the next area to see what weird creatures the developers have dreamed up next. This isn’t going to make people that hate solitaire suddenly want to play it, but it does have enough of a fun theme to entertain those who just want something reasonably light to play whilst enjoying a bonkers story.”
Forbidden Solitaire: The Discarded adds two to three hours of playtime to the grungy, found-footage horror, including 30 new levels for players to enjoy. Alongside that comes new foes, puzzles and bosses, more of a demonic love story that maybe should have been deleted, a bunch of new arcane upgrades, and some devastating new jokers.
It’s a lot of new content, and it comes while Forbidden Solitaire is surely still quite fresh in people’s mind, but promises enough to pull people back in for another go.
Forbidden Solitaire: The Discarded DLC is coming out in October, so there’s not long to wait. The base game is also currently on sale ahead of the DLC release.
