Escape from Tarkov‘s Arena Season 2 Casus Belli is well underway, alongside the release of the some new maps, the return of the Shootout game mode and the Factory reward track. There’s a lot to earn and a lot to learn with some of the rewards available, so here’s five of my favourites featured for this season.
- Casus Belli Crate: This may seem like an obvious choice, considering it’s the whole point of the season rewards, the season crate. However, what’s important is to buy them from the pass specifically, they work out substantially cheaper as you progress letting you save your points for the rewards you want as you spin the wheel and see what prizes you get.
- Lega Medal: Lega medals are looked over by a lot of people when it comes to the Arena pass rewards as well as the new Factory Tactical map. They offer some of the most helpful and expensive items in the main game when transferred as well as allow you to purchase specific weapons with Lega Medals in the arena, making them a must have from the rewards passes whenever available.
- Fort Redut-M Body Armour (Black): The standard Fort Redut armour is some of the most reliable and functional in the game, featuring solid chest and body protection all round, paired with a clear intimidation factor the black variation allows you to stick out less when in urban environments and night raids compared to its green counter part. Having it available from Ref in the main game as well is always a welcome addition to anyone using GP coins as well.
- Any of the new weapon attachments: After the recent changes to the way weapons function in main game Escape From Tarkov, the new coloured weapon attachments seem to sport a very high bonus to your weapons compared to some of the older more meta items. Although this may seem like an odd choice to make something so strong available only through Arena, it’s definitely something you’ll want to have squared away for the perfect build and claim them all from both the season pass and the Factory Tactical map.
- Atlant Armour Titan Aramid Helmet: This helmet is both very aesthetically pleasing (especially when paired with the other end of the pass cosmetics) and functional, sporting tier 3 and 4 armour protecting your head and face, a high ricochet chance as well as coverage for the majority of your head it’s on par with a lot of the mid game for Escape From Tarkov as well as being highly versatile in Arena.
