Brigador Killers Reemerges with New Gameplay Demo
Brigador, later Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, was an action-packed mech shooter that launched quite a while ago, to great praise. And now, a decade later, there is a sequel coming out, and it’s demo has just released on Steam. For those unfamiliar, Bridgador is an isometric shooter featuring a fully destructible world, heavy vehicle customisations and tactical combat. Brigador Killers is building on the previous game, bringing the same spirit to a newer, fresher game.
In the Brigador Killers demo, players will find themselves dropped into the world of Mar Nosso, operating behind enemy lines to disrupt and dismantle entrenched corporate power as a part of Team Anchor. The demo includes two different campaigns to play through, one structured and the other more freeform.
‘Obstacle 1’ is a tightly directed, six-mission campaign aimed at introducing players to the core systems of the game. There are short narrative plots to tie together what is going on, along with an explosive opening and finale. This campaign is around 15 minutes.
‘The Garage’ is a semi-sandbox campaign with no narrative plot stringing it together, where players are challenged to build a base, assemble a private arsenal, and take on missions either on foot or with vehicles. This mode has dynamic mission elements, including shifting layouts and enemy encounters, with the aim of being highly repayable and having extended play sessions.
Between now and June, Brigador Killers’ developer plans on adding a few substantial updates to the public demo, so that you can check out more campaign experiences and see more of the game’s narrative as it expands up until the game is fully releaed. This is a great chance to experience it for free, and see it evolves — but without the Early Access tag or paywall.
Brigador Killers does not have a solid release date, however the demo can be played on Steam and you can wishlist it now. Following along with the updates to the public demo should be interesting, and we suspect something big to be announced alongside the Steam Next Fest in June.
