The Sims 4 are adding in two different capsules adding in a bunch of style to the game! On August 27th, you can find classic 90s nostalgia and Y2K-inspired styles, celebrating looks from The Mean Girls and Clueless.
Though there isn’t a released lists of the items in either of these capsules there are some hints at what you can find in them!
In the Mean Girls capsules, there likely is miniskirts, matching sweaters, festive hats from the Jingle Bell performance, and Mathletes team jackets are seemingly ones that will appear! The Mean Girls capsule also promises a bunch of different swatches so that you can create a variety of different looks.
On the other hand, the Clueless Capsule are inspired by the unforgettable 90s style and fashion, ready for a new generation of players to enjoy them. There seems to be a lot of colorful plaid sets, layered tops, button-front skirts, and workout wear, along with some Tai-inspired overalls that allow for a lot of mixing and matching!
It is interesting to see so many new – old items if that makes sense. The world is truly running on nostalgia and the memories of past time. I am surprised the Mean Girls capsule didn’t come along the time of the more recent movie, but I actually didn’t hear many good things about the movie, so maybe they dodged a bullet there!
The Sims 4 Mean Girls and Clueless capsules are coming out on August 27th, on all platforms.
