The Wandering Village, a whimsical city-building simulator where you are creating a world on the body of a giant, moving creature, has announced their first DLC: The Last Leviathan.
We previously reviewed The Wandering Village while it was in Early Access:
“Artistically, The Wandering Village is beautiful. I love zooming in and watching my little cell-shaded villagers potter around Onbu’s back. At village level it’s all in a slightly angled 3D view, almost reminiscent of early RTS games but with you able to slide in a little closer at an angle, while there’s a 3D and then map view which have all had just as much care put into them.”
The Last Leviathan allows you to build up your own town on Levi, the all-new marine creature. You will need to develop your relationship with this giant creature and take care of it’s special needs – gaining new resources as you go. There are over 12 new buildings for you to construct, like the Kiln and the Drying Shack, along with a new techtree with these buildings and resources, that you can progress through as you play.
As Levi is a marine creature, you will need to make sure that they have enough water to manage their moisture levels, which brings through a completely new challenge and new set of dangers.
The The Last Leviathan DLC doesn’t currently have a release date, but it can be wishlisted so that you are notified, via Steam.
