Go-Go Town is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 17th
Go-Go Town, a wholesome town-management game where you get to plan your own neighbourhood, automate logistics and make sure the people in your town are happy, is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 17th.
We previously previewed this game:
“I do feel those who like growing towns and managing different businesses will have fun with Go-Go Town. It’s all about building up your town, without you having to develop relationships or do fetch quests, which feels like something that is very freeform and fun to play through.”
After it’s initial release in 2024, this game is now making its way to Nintendo Switch. This is quite a wholesome, cozy management game and it feels like a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch Platform. When I played the game, there was a lot of content already, with so much to manage and go through during your time playing within the town.
You can spend time customising your house, with fully 360 placement and colour pickers, creating a space that fells just your own. You can tailor the town itself, through different business zones and decisions, that will gain reactions of your people. You can even do non-mayor things like plant some crops and spend time in the mines gathering a bunch of resources that can be used to build. When I played, I even spent some time picking up trash!
Go-Go Town also has co-op where you can play with another mayor (either online or locally) where both of you can attempt to manage a town together, though this may have some sort of chaotic results if you do not communicate well or have different ideas of what a town should look like.
