Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has had another free content drop, this time with Samba de Amigo content added into the game.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds Shows Us Kart Racing Isn’t Dead Yet
Amigo is a fan favorite, so it is nice to see this special character in the game! They’ve got a classic skin that feature’s Amigo’s signature sombrero, along with their vehicle the Locomotive de Amigo. There is also a special final lap emote called VAMOS A CARNAVAL and a jukebox only song that you can listen to. This new content is in all versions of the game as long as players update it.
From September 10th to September 13th, players can also earn festival points that can be spent on decals, gadgets, and other cosmetics just by updating the game and diving back into it.
It does look like Samba de Amigo has added a bunch of colorful fun into the game, and this weekend event should be pretty fun to play through. I’m not surprised to see a 1999 rhythm game character racing alongside Sonic, but it is an interesting next content update for sure.
