Our picks from the Steam Bullet Fest 2026
The Steam Bullet Fest is a Steam-hosted sale, full of games that have a lot of guns, bullets and shooting. These games do have different vibes to them, but lots of weapons and destruction. You’ve got until June 15th to purchase these games, many of which are on-sale, if you’re looking for something new to play. We’ve hand selected our favorites from the Steam Bullet Fest:
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
“In conclusion, do I recommend Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor? Yes, I absolutely do. It’s the kind of game you throw on thinking you’ll just do a quick run and then, before you know it, the sun is coming up and you forgot to eat and sleep before work the next day. Yes, it had that much of a grip on me, embarrassingly. I also love the continued support from Ghost Ship Publishing to do more with the Deep Rock ‘universe’, I think they’re on to something with these little spin-off games and am looking forward to whatever they publish next.”
Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel
“Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a stylish, satisfying roguelike experience that blends Norse mythology with bullet hell chaos. It’s not narratively deep but the progression, atmosphere, and combat make it a worthy addition to the genre. If you’re looking for a game that lets you slay giants, dodge curses, and earn the favour of the gods — this one delivers. As it stands, it’s possible that Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is now my favourite game in this genre, and that’s no small feat.”
Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a roguelike auto-shooter with serious atmosphere
Vampire Survivors
“Even before having discovered everything this game has to offer, I can very easily recommend Vampire Survivors to gamers of pretty much any type. It seems to have the scale of a puddle put is secretly ocean deep, and if you have even a passing interest in games then this is absolutely worth your time. Load up on garlic and vanquish some vampires!”
BALL x PIT
“Speaking of the grind in BALL x PIT, it is a game that you are going to have to play time and time again to really get anywhere with it. Whether the RNG just doesn’t work out, you slip up and take just one too many hits or you just aren’t strong enough you will be replaying levels to progress and make each character stronger. ”
Enter the Gungeon
“When all is said and done, Enter the Gungeon is more evolution than revolution. I can’t think of a specific bell or whistle it uses to shout its message from the rooftops, but what it does do is more or less everything well. It looks and sounds good, with a fantastic feel which is head and shoulders above almost any other twin stick shooter I’ve played. It offers a good level of challenge and feels pleasingly tactical, whilst the co-op mode is more than just a tacked-on, throwaway element. Enter the Gungeon is a great game and like so many others, it feels as if it belongs on Nintendo’s exceptional handheld. Highly recommended.”
