Temtem: Pioneers Completes Kickstarter with All Stretch Goals Unlocked
Temtem: Pioneers has completed its Kickstarter, and all of the attached stretch goals too.
Temtem: Pioneers isn’t a direct sequel to Temtem, instead aiming to be a brand new, open-world survival-crafting spin off game that happens to be set in the same universe. The first Temtem was also on Kickstarter — and we sat down with the developers at the time to ask them all about it.
In Temtem: Pioneers you can tame and become over 200 different Temtem creatures, mastering their abilities, taking on combat, crafting new items, and exploring a massive, stunning world.
At the end of the Temtem: Pioneers Kickstarter, there was well over $600,000 raised, for a total of 580% of the originally planned goal. As well as support for the base game, there have been seven additional stretch goals reached, which will be bringing more depth and colour to the open world, survival crafting experience. Some of these additional features include more biomes — specifically a Crystal and Dark Forest biome — to discover. There will also be more Temtems to hunt, including Fossil Tems, as well as Auri and Iris variants. The team behind the game have also decided to put more time into an improved mount system that is designed to make travel more fluid. They’re also planning to expand the gameplay system to have custom game modes and a dedicated PVP playground.
If you have missed the time to back Temtem: Pioneers, do not worry. Late Pledges are open so that you can still support the game’s development, although this will be closed in the near future. Now that it has been funded, the developers have said that they are going to be putting their heads down and focus on full development, so that they can complete the game and all of this new content.
You can currently wishlist the game on Steam ahead of release.
