Nacon, the publisher and peripheral manufacturer, are quite well known for their extensive back catalogue, including some great games like Warhammer: Chaos Bane and Robocop: Rogue City. Yesterday, during the Nacon Connect event they announced three new projects that are in the works, each of them set within the moody originally-TTRPG World of Darkness setting. They also released a handful of release dates for upcoming titles, and gave us a little peek at some of them in action.
New Games Unveiled
- Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish: Taking you into the even seedier and more supernatural underbelly of New York. you step into the role of a hunter, paranoia and desperation lead you down a trail of planning, stalking and eventually attacking monsters and ghouls spread throughout New York, either alone or with friends.
- Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn: Also set in the famous World of Darkness™ universe, you’ll be able to step into the role of Taylor, someone who witnessed their friend be gunned down and released the inner beast in a flurry of blood and gore. Create a werewolf den, change into multiple forms and grow stronger as you explore a massive interconnected world.
- Dracula: The Disciple: Cyanide Studio revealed a first person puzzle adventure that has you take on the mantle of French Archivist, Emile Valombres, as you venture deeper into the castle on a quest to uncover a cure. Solve puzzles, uncover secrets and master the arts of the occult as you work your way towards the goal of cheating death through vampirism. Despite following the naming structure of the previous two World of Darkness-set games, this one is not part of the universe.
NACON took the opportunity to also mention some of their closer upcoming releases as well as some of their already released titles which are soon to be released on other platforms.
