Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times takes you for a twisted spell
Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times has you don the cloak of one of the last sages in the land exploring a colourful world and casting many colourful and powerful spells.
After being bonked on the head by a magic book, which happens to be the home of your new bug friend, you are tasked with saving the land from the evil sage one spell at a time.Push, pull, heat, twist, gel and much more throughout Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times to solve puzzles and explore the varied locations the island has to offer.

When speaking to a member of the publishing team behind Rhell : Warped Worlds and Troubled Time from Yogscast Games, while at London Games Festival, they mentioned that it has a clear inspiration from the classic Zelda games but with a much more open ended approach to puzzle solving, allowing players to “work their way through problems in their own way and at their own pace” which was very apparent as I started blasting down trees and other bits of the environment just to see what I could do. Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times
Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times also has an interesting camera that allows you to switch from multiple perspectives to reveal locations and puzzles as you venture deeper into the world. At one point when walking into part of a ruined castle I had the camera at the overhead position and bringing it down let me see a little kitchen tucked away at the back.

There’s a lot of love gone into the making of Rhell and from the short time I spent with it I’d be happy to play a lot more and experiment with all of those spells to see just what would be possible in such a reactive world.
Rhell: Warped Worlds and Troubled Times was actually released back in March and if you’d like to check it out before buying it you can find the full game and demo on the Steam page.
