Hasbro Games Junior Collection, which is a game containing three junior versions of classic board games, has released a gameplay trailer. The Hasbro Games Junior Collection contains Clue Junior, The game of Life Junior and Monopoly Junior, with the aim of getting these classics on the devices of the younger generation.
In the new gameplay trailer, you can see a bunch of the actual gameplay behind these games. The maps themselves come to life – looking like the classics but with some fun additions like Monopoly having 3D areas, like an ice cream shack inside an ice cream zone. The way that Clue Junior is played looks interesting – you can see how the players move around – and some of the mini-games that can randomly happen have been revealed as well.
These mini-games like races or mazes bring more fun to Hasbro Games Junior Collection than the board game versions could have. It’s also interesting to see how children can spin spinners or roll dice, which allows all of them to interact, so there aren’t moments where anyone becomes bored. I do feel that this solves a lot of the things that make younger players stop playing the board game versions of these. It’s great to see fun innovation!
The Hasbro Games Junior Collection isn’t out yet, but it can be pre-ordered on PC and console ahead of the holidays.
