In a world of Fallout 76 canvas bags, season passes that never have all their content released, and skin packs for games that were taken down before a week was out — there’s a lot of apologising and platitudes in the industry. Owlcat Games, creators of the legendary digital Pathfinder games and Rogue Trader, are making amends for the recently botched Switch 2 version of the Warhammer 40,000 space adventure: All owners of Rogue Trader on Switch 2 will be eligible to receive all current Rogue Trader DLC for free – as well as future content as it comes out, too.
Rogue Trader released on Switch 2 with rocky performance, but also a host of game-breaking bugs. While fixes were being worked on and updates rolled out, Owlcat has decided that simply fixing what’s there isn’t enough. Making all previous and future DLC free is a way to help recover the player base and make the Switch 2 version the best it can be from here on out. This content doesn’t need a redeem code, you can simply access the Nintendo Switch 2 storefront and download the DLCs (you will need to own the base game, of course).
Regional Prices May Vary Due to Minimum Spend
It’s worth mentioning, despite our readership here, that in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Korea you will still have to pay a paltry sum to meet the region’s stores minimum spend. While that will not affect many of you reading, it’s an interesting insight into how the same Nintendo store works differently across the world.

It’s a lot of content, and with how fantastic the base game is it’s hard not to be tempted to buy the game on Nintendo Switch 2 just to nab all the DLC for free, despite the chance of shoddy performance and minor bugs remaining from the purge.
