CableHook Games’ Here Comes The Swarm has players building and managing the final settlements of humanity as they attempt to hold out against relentless alien hordes. And, now, it’s had a new major content update for the early access version, featuring a brand new deity, fresh progression options gameplay improvements, quality of life enhancements and a wide range of community driven fixes.

The new deity is Yangwu, a deity that favours economic growth and efficient settlement management, allowing players to use a unique set of blessings, essences, a relic and new progression paths to maximise resources and ramp into the endgame with strong late game synergy.

This update also expands heavily upon community requested quality of life updates including enhanced visibility of enemies and mini map interactions such as the spawn range of a new wave being visible on the map. Wave locations are now also announced 2 minutes in advance giving players a chance to prepare for what’s to come as they work towards their next stages of defence as well as a myriad of other changes and improvements that can be found on the Here Comes The Swarm Steam Page.

To celebrate the milestone and release of the new content, Here Comes The Swarm has been bundled with Diplomacy Is Not An Option on Steam with nice 10% off, to grab both games together.

Alongside the update comes the confirmation for three more major updates in the works including a brand new campaign that’s already in development. With the developmental roadmap being rounded up with it future updates, Here Comes The Swarm is shaping up to be an even bigger and better RTS experience with plenty to offer as the development team at CableHook Games remains committed to building a solid experience with a community focus at it’s heart.
