Gunnar Barton Glasses – Comfortable Blue Light Protection
Gunnar offers a plethora of glasses but the Bartons stand out as one of the widest and most comfortable pairs I’ve reviewed so far. Featuring wide frames and lenses, the Bartons give good screen coverage for your eyes, to keep you covered while you work.
This pair of Bartons is the prescription pair which is important to point out as the price point is different from the non-prescription version and comes in two distinct colours. The Barton glasses I received are the Sequoia coloured frames but are also available in a darker Onyx version.

Both frames can also come with different colored lenses each featuring different levels of protection against either blue light or UV rays and can be customised to your liking with different levels of prescription as well meaning there is literally something for everyone and every occasion.
I have the amber lenses here to offer a mid range of protection and when using them at my PC, even typing this review up now, I can instantly feel that my eyes are more relaxed and the light from my screen is offset by the lenses, especially at night time when you’re starting to get a bi tired.
The Gunnar Barton’s also come with a classic leather case and cleaning clothes as well as a small fabric carry bag to keep your glasses clean and protected for if you’re at the office or out and about outdoors.

It is important to point out that the amber tint is not particularly bothersome for me personally and when wearing the glasses I sometimes forget I have them on, however if the colour is an issue you can go for the clearer more discreet lenses that still offer some lesser protection but add less of a sepia tone to your vision.
