Hatch, Evolve and Battle in Creature Companions
Creature Companions from Rhino Rock Studios was exhibited at Pocket Gamer Connect London and I sat down and got my hands on an early build of it. It’s a brand new game, freshly out of prototyping, that focuses on hatching creatures to perform tasks, play minigames as well as doing PVP and PVE events.
There were a few different minigames being showcased in the demo of Creature Companions, one which was called the “test of strength” that the booth was running a small competition to see who could get the highest score. They each were interactive minigames aiming to give you items or experience to grow and improve the stats of the various creatures available to hatch.

The creatures available in the current build can be hatched from light or dark eggs which will be cosmetically different and will all feature different stats as well which can be improved as you work with your hatched creatures.
I myself am an avid player of Pokemon GO and can see a number of comparisons between the two but there are also a lot of differences. The minigames that are available in this early build really spoil you for choice and make it feel as if there’s always going something new to try and keep you entertained as you grind those stats up.
Rhino Rock Studios also mentioned they are avid supporters of animal welfare and sustainability with The company donating 3% of its profits to charitable causes as well as looking into sustainable products to represent itself at locations like PGC.

Creature Companions is still very early in its development cycle but is aiming to be released on PC, Switch, IOS and Android devices.
